Third edition of the training seminar on European funds
The event will begin on 28th September and is open to all entities that are part of DIPLOCAT
After the success of the first and second edition, DIPLOCAT and the two municipal entities that form part of the consortium, the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM) and the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia (FMC), with the collaboration of the Department of Foreign Action and Open Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia), have prepared a third edition of the seminar on European funding opportunities.
This year, the seminar will be held mostly electronically, but a maximum of 3 face-to-face sessions are planned. The course will begin on 28th September and will last a total of 45 hours. Speakers include experts from the European Commission and the Generalitat, university professors, and representatives from various local administrations with experience managing European funds.
This year, the training programme will pay special attention to the new European funds for the 2021-2027 period and also to the Next Generation EU funds. Throughout the seminar, speakers will also discuss good practices in obtaining European funds in Catalonia.
The classes have been designed as weekly, three-hour sessions which explain the funding programmes and the theoretical sessions will be combined with the presentation of practical experiences and a final practical workshop. The training will last until February of next year.
