Basic advice on good uses of social networks

DIPLOCAT publishes a series of infographics with recommendations to better reach an international audience

What is the best time of the day to post on Linkedin? What should be kept in mind if we want to be active on Tik Tok? Is Twitter equally important around the world? These and other questions are answered in a series of infographics on the good use of social networks in international activities that DIPLOCAT has created.

This action is part of DIPLOCAT's Strategic Plan, which in its point 3.3 aims to promote skills in social networks as a tool for external projection of Catalonia. The infographics have been designed with DIPLOCAT member entities in mind, although they are freely accessible to everyone. There are English, Catalan, Spanish and Frech versions of the infographics.

The idea of making these recommendations arose from the digital seminar "How to make good use of social media", which took place on 18 February 2022 with European and Latin American experts to learn about cases of good practices and the keys to success in the use of social networks. The main conclusions of that event have been visually and concisely translated into a set of infographics designed by Mortensen digital design studio, with a series valid for all social networks and others specific to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, Tik Tok and videos.
