DIPLOCAT organizes a meeting between Carola Lentz and representatives of the Catalan cultural sector

The Goethe-Institut is the German public institution that promotes knowledge of the language and culture of its country abroad. It has 12 centers in Germany and 158 institutes in 98 countries around the world, one of which is the Barcelona Goethe-Institut, ​​founded in 1955.

Anthropologist Carola Lentz, president of the Goethe-Institut, visited Barcelona for two days to meet with the team from the Catalan headquarters and discuss future strategies. During this visit and in collaboration with the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia in Germany, DIPLOCAT organized a meeting between Lentz and different representatives of the Catalan cultural sector. During the meeting, language learning, the role of cultural institutes in a foreign country, and the relationship between Catalonia and Germany were discussed.
