Master in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs - MDAE

The Master in Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs was launched in 2013 and has trained 87 students throughout the five editions held so far. The latest graduating class completed the programme in 2019, and the future of this complementary training programme is currently being defined. It is recognised by the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and organised by DIPLOCAT in conjunction with the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI), the Public Administration School of Catalonia (EAPC) and the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of the European Union.

The objective of the MDAE was to reinforce the Catalan administrations' capacities to spearhead internationalisation and foreign promotion projects, and thus it was specifically targeted at the staff of the public administrations in Catalonia with international experience.
