DIPLOCAT and the external projection of sub-state entities, debated at the Universidade do Minho

The consortium presents its activities to the master's students in International Relations at this university in northern Portugal

DIPLOCAT participated today in an online training session on Catalonia's external action with around 25 students from the Universidade do Minho. The session was lead by Jordi Arrufat, DIPLOCAT project manager, at the invitation of Professor Sandrina Antunes, director of the Master's in International Relations from this university based in Braga, in the north of Portugal.

Arrufat has addressed concepts such as paradiplomacy and soft power, to explain the framework in which the external action of a sub-state entity such as Catalonia takes place, while also explaining the functions carried out by DIPLOCAT and the historical evolution of Catalonia's foreign action since the 1980s.
