Eight students have started Euro-Mediterranean and international studies this year in Amsterdam, Leiden, Geneva, Bruges and Warsaw

The secretary general of DIPLOCAT, Laura Foraster i Lloret, met today online with the eight scholarship holders who have gone abroad this academic year with a DIPLOCAT scholarship to do Euro-Mediterranean and international studies. The DIPLOCAT Scholarship Program provides grants each year to study Euro-Mediterranean studies at the Natolin campus of the College of Europe in Warsaw, and grants to study international relations, with a more general approach, at any foreign university.

Foraster congratulated the scholarship recipients, who this year have chosen to do master's studies in international development, European economic studies, public international law, international arbitration, transatlantic affairs and European interdisciplinary studies. Their destinations include the University of Amsterdam and the University of Leiden (Netherlands), the Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva (Switzerland), and the College of Europe, both in Bruges (Flanders) and in Warsaw (Poland).

Laura Foraster has emphasized that the aim of these scholarships is "to train specialized personnel in matters relating to international relations, who in the future can contribute to the international projection of Catalonia". With the 2022-2023 calls, there are already more than 300 Catalan students who have benefited from these scholarships since the program was founded in 1983.
